I just wanted to make this follow-up report. I had the chance today to chat with the new developer of Brainstorm. As Alexander has reported, he certainly is a Brainstorm enthusiast and I think he has ...
Scrivener-like outliner for Windows?

If the cork board is the most important feature you are looking for, I think you're mostly out of luck in the PC world, with the possible exception of the Writer's Cafe/Storylines option.
As for sing...
Just a notification for any Mac users. Circus Ponies Notebook is just $25 today at www.mupromo.com. That's a great deal on a pretty formidable application.

Tinderbox 4.6

Hugh,
Thank you for the thoughtful reply and the links to the Lit Lat forum pages. I had read the second thread, but hadn't seen the first. Michael Bywater makes a strong case for Tinderbox. Amber ad...
Tinderbox 4.6

I noted that there is a new release of Tinderbox -- that hard to classify application for the Mac. I remain very interested in the program, but the high initial cost ($229), in addition to the high co...

I used the contact information on the web page to send an e-mail to the new owner. He responded and sounds as if he is looking for input to help determine the future of Brainstorm.

That would be great functionality to add to my OneNote... unfortunately I don't use Vista. It's too bad that it doesn't work on XP, because that overview would be great. Thanks for the heads up, Chris...

FYI, Wouter has already implemented the suggestions I made, as well as a few others. In fact, he had them done within 24 hours of when I suggested them.

I've been playing around a bit with TreeSheets, and I am excited by the concept. The Zoom feature is great -- like hoisting to an individual cell, although in TS you can see an entire grid.

This is an intriguing application. I'm currently at home -- where I'm Mac-based -- but intend to check out TreeSheet at the office. This is timely, because I've been thinking more about keeping inform...
Hi all,
Sorry to go off-topic, but I really value the opinions of this group. I am looking for a good, relatively low-cost customer management solution for the organization I work for. We have needed...

I can see the value of tagging, but I can also see its major pitfalls, especially for someone like me. It seems that to be truly effective using tags, you need to be extremely disciplined in their use...
