Scrivener 3 is on the way…
11/28/2017
A tiny, barely noticeable feature in Scrivener 3 that told me this was thoughtfully crafted software: on macOS the icon on Scrivener 3 files now show the author's name and name of the manuscript in t...

Some possibilities for Windows are (in my order of preference):
Southbeach Modeller (Windows-only)
Insight Maker (web based)

Any figure on a Curio map (they're called "idea spaces") can have text associated with it, which is added / edited in a "figure notes" panel. The figure notes panel is an always-on-top window so you...

Tinderbox maps can do everything Scapple maps do -- plus several dozen additional features not possible at all with Scapple.

TheBrain yesterday issued an update to v9 (b231) that re-introduces two-way sync with Google Calendars.
This feature has been on vacation since TheBrain 8 and it's good to see it come back.

I believe TheBrain 9 is about as non-beta it can be while still be called a "Late Beta" by the company. It's the default download. If you go looking for TheBrain 8 you see "Although no longer suppo...
What is the oldest application you use?

The application I've used longer than any is MS Word -- going back to the late 1980s with WinWord 1.0 on Windows 2. Although I preferred WordStar, which I used from the early 1980s (I think) but Wor...

I doubt you'll ever see that feature. Tinderbox "notes" are text inside XML files, conglomerated with lots of other text and coding -- there's no discrete "note" to search for.
