Agenda versus NotePlan
2/10/2020
I posted separately about the image thing, too. Very nice. Thanks @Eduard
I turned off my Agenda subscription and stopped using it. The interface was way too fiddly. I think they made some decis...
NotePlan now supports image attachments
2/10/2020
NotePlan continues its regular pace of updates -- the latest release across all platforms (Apple only, sorry) supports image attachments in notes. Done in a more functional way than with Agenda.

Editorial Vivant?

I noticed that too. Last change was 2yr ago, and before that it looks like there was an update once a year since the product launched 6 years ago. Editorial is very stable and not in need of much ch...
Good point. macOS-only is a significant limitation for this kind of application.

iPad productivity 10 years later

Are Surface Pro's reliable and durable -- they feel flimsy. And that model with the carpeting on the keyboard is ... odd. Don't know if it is still offered.
Ugh, please no. Not another zombie subscription. You're killing us. My interest in your promise of new features vanished when I read "we might consider a subscription". I'll pay for upgrades or ...

To do list system to use and invest in

I don't think the $200 Dynalist offer exists. Maybe it existed in the past? But not now. A question about it posted there was deleted by the admins. I assume that means if they really wanted anyo...

So, to continue playing 20 questions, do you have a link to this offer? There is nothing obvious on their website and no mention of the offer in their forum?

As a hypothetical? Or is Dynalist making such an offer?
Since Dynalist comprises Erica and one other person, perhaps the question is can they keep at it for several more years -- enough to make the ...
Best wishes for 2020 and beyond

Thank you, Chris.
This site is comfortable, workable, and is just fine the way it is, IMO. I know early this year (?) there was chat about added features, but the focused design here is really quit...
I agree with this. "Dedicated" task managers such as 2Do or Todoist are more useful for "tasks".
It's a good idea to step back and think about what your "task management" needs are. There's a big d...

A very peaceful and rewarding New Year to everyone here (and everywhere).
I agree wholeheartedly with the kudos for Chris -- without him, there is no OutlinerSoftware community.
2019 reflection question
12/31/2019
What I learned from CRIMPing in 2019 is to do less of it. Learning a few "softwares" well is more interesting than quantity.
It's still fun to pick up a new shiny bauble and look at it for a while...

"Preview" notes from the Support site. "Modernizing and simplifying" means "we've removed some major functionality that some users might miss" including removing support for scripts. So after neglec...

Looking for streamlined offline Window note taker similar to ResophNotes but with rich formatting

Very likely I'm missing the point, but what about OneNote? The interface can be skinnied down to not much.
Hook has a major flaw: there is no way to discover what Hook knows.
I can create a bunch of links between documents or other entities with Hook (what Hook's maker calls a "mesh"). Then a week later ...

A useful feature of Curio that might work into the method you are experimenting is that you can drag an "idea space" (i.e., a canvas) into another idea space and you will get a live view of the dragge...
