5/15/2016
An entirely new version was just released. I'm not sure in what world that's considered "abandoned."
Last bit of activity on the site was from two months ago. That's better than most software makers...

Beginning to see the light with org-mode
4/10/2016
I have continued to learn, play with and refine Org-Mode. While it's frustrating in many ways, once I'd wrestled it into submission, I found it's pretty much the outliner I've been looking for all thi...

Not really, hence my conclusion that Resophnotes is probably still better, though I'm hoping there's potential for it to improve in the future.

The Most Dangerous Writing App

Oh. It eats *everything* if the screen goes red.
Anyway, the whole thing seems a bit silly though I see how it's kind of amusing. Just not practical. It's not difficult to say, set the stopwatch app...
Virtual machines for CRIMPers
2/28/2016
While we're on the topic of virtual machines and vintage software (like GrandView), I discovered an operating system called FreeDOS (http://www.freedos.org/) exists. I haven't tried it yet, but this m...
