WhizFolders vs Scrivener for Windows

And there is also the issue of cost/benefit. Given the price of the de lux version of Whizfolders (or at least what I paid for it), I wasn't compelled to keep getting it upgraded. The new licensing re...

Google dropping Wave
11/23/2011
I might be wrong but I thought Google's main error was that the Wave didn't show up in the Google header alongside mail, calendar etc. I did want to use it but I kept forgetting that it existed. They ...

ActionOutline at 'bitsdujour'

Considering that Noteliner is available for free and so it has become a kind of a benchmark, my question would be: What does ActionOutline offer over and above Noteliner that is worth $20?

Great! Thanks for that, Chris.
Thanks Chris. Would it be possible to put a link into the header (or the left pane) on both forums to the other forum? It would just save a few clicks...
Cheers!
Carrot,
I'd challenge the assumptions in your question: 1) that there are "best tools and workflow techniques" that one could just adopt one-for-one, and 2) that one single integrated tool would be b...

Debunking the "1,000 hours of practice" myth

Interesting points, Chris. I suppose I linked concentration to productivity in my post because I find that the two are related in some complicated ways. Yes, if you don't concentrate (because you lack...

Those of you who bought Scrivener for Windows 1.0 may want to reinstall the latest 1.0.1 version. As far as I can tell the main difference is that in 1.0 the "Check for Updates" function didn't work, ...
