Powerpoint slide library

Ah, that sounds like a plan! I'll try that - I have The Brain Pro, and I think this could work in that. Thanks Moritz :-)

Thanks for the responses. I was aware of Sharepoint but (see the PS in my original post), I don't have that version of Office.
I didn't think I'd get anywhere with this request - but it was worth a ...

Thanks Franz. Yes. To be clearer: I'm trying to import slides as slides (not as another format, such as rtf) into a single data file (not multiple files), where I can view and search all slides from...

I was wondering if anybody knew of a PIM/Information manager which is able to read MS Powerpoint presentations in, dissasembling them into their component slides so that they can then be viewed and, i...
You said that you had tried Whizfolders, but the table support was insufficient. That is indeed one of Whizfolders' weak points. I use Whizfolders, and for my table-rich documents I simply copy and p...
Jim,
For exactly that purpose I use Tasktop - http://www.tasktop.com/ .
It positions itself as a task manager, but I don't find its task management utilities sufficient for my needs. However, it ...

Vladimir, could you provide a direct e-mail address so that I can send you the information you require, with screen dumps?
Thanks.

I'm wondering why this program, if it's been around for so long, is so well hidden with so little written about it. The principle seems very logical and worthy.
Perhaps you users could clarify some ...

My information management tools are largely unchanged recently:
- OneNote for archiving and screen/webpage capture
- Personal Brain Pro for archiving and for building my family tree (the webpages pro...
Ken,
From memory it's a 21-day trial period (though the developer has always been amenable to extending that if further testing is required, on a case-by-case basis).
I'm not sure whether Surfulat...

Ultra Recall is DEAD!

I admire Kinook's honesty - more companies should take that approach.
There are very few companies which can live from the money made out of software development and sales. My own software (16 years...

Daly,
I know you are, or were at one stage, an enthusiastic user of Zoot, which also has the capability of archiving web pages. This being the case, apart from the very obvious differences in the wa...

No I don't, which makes the annoyance more irritating. Tasktop admit it was designed that way - they ha...
I'm also still using Tasktop, and agree entirely about the level and quality of the support.
The integration of the browser with the tasks is a real boon (I don't use the context files feature very...
Hi Gary,
I use Personal Brain Pro and update automatically, so I'm using the new version. I tested the new import outline feature once, and it does work, but I don't regularly use it.
