Taskade might be great...
However I cant get past the ridiculous icon....That would never appear on my home screen.
Simple, minimal, symmetrical...is the way to go.

Tinderbox is too expensive. It looks useful and complex but it is too expensive for what it is.Devonthink as it correct with pricing. Annual pricing of nearly £100 is ridiculous.

I never really stuck with Onenote. I used to love it when I used windows but It is slow and buggy on the Mac. Sync is really slow.
