I read the suggestion to use Nativefier with Roam over on Appademic and installed it last night. Not offline, mind, but I appreciate the ability to treat it as its own instance.

I signed up, it's very cool!
It's been a month since Roam came on my radar and wondering if anyone here is finding it useful?
I've been following the developer on Twitter and the app seems to be gaining traction/appreciation.
These days a lack of slick marketing makes me a bit more trusting of the service. I've signed up for the beta and will be playing around today.
I used the Workflowy Chrome app for a long time, but recently discovered they have a proper MacOS app now and IMO it's better: https://workflowy.com/downloads/mac/

I tend to think we humans are engineers at heart. Were it another time, we'd be tinkering with refining the design and implementation of other things.
