Bear 2 - Reactions?

Off-topic, but thanks for mentioning History Book. I hadn't come across this plugin - it's badass!

Cool! I use Popclip all the time for text manipulation, but had not come across that extension, so thanks for that. Know of an equivalent for iOS?

Bear 2 - Reactions?

I agree these additions bring parity to other apps. However, I like Bear for many of the pre-existing features. Typography with hidden markdown is great. I also like the note organization scheme via ...

I agree. Compared to Scapple which provides better tools for linking notes using flow chart-type arrows, I don't foresee using it much.

I'd very much like to learn about how you do this, Bill. Care to share a bit about specifics?

Replacing Everything with Logseq
4/1/2022
The new iOS test release for Logseq triggered me to have a look at the most recent version (after spending time with Roam, Obsidian, Mem, Craft, Legend, others). It's really great!

I agree wholeheartedly. My primary criteria for outliner or task manger software is how well it sits on top of the data structures I built in DT (usually via item links) and allows me to change concep...
Tags, Nested tags, Links/backlinks, Folders- What do you use? (Also, MOC's or Maps of Content pages)

I use "Labels" in DT similarly for status/state. I have one group per individual project in an overarching "Projects" group. Each individual project folder contains an .rtf file (with procedures, prot...
As a Mac-centric user, Reflect looks very interesting. Based on the (very) limited amount of information on the web site, it seems to compete in a niche with Roam/Craft/Logseq. The visual design looks...

I’d be very interested to learn more about how you do this. I’ve loved the simplicity of TP and its reliance on text files. I use it on a per-project basis, but lack of repeating tasks mak...
Maybe a bit off-topic, but the one Omni app that I have become absolutely dependent upon is OmniGraffle. I use it extensively to assemble figures for publication and diagramming. I can find good alter...

Bob,
That’s a good point. OmniOutliner Essential is ten bucks. Essential lacks other functionality besides formatting and automation, such as text folding, but it is a functional product. Wish I...
I have maintained active licenses for OmniOutliner since the days it came pre-installed on Macs. I used it regularly for many years but recently came to the realization that: 1) I use the software to ...
Thanks, Bill. I own Findings and have played around with it a bit, but not really committed to using it for long enough to tell if it will work for me. Findings does have some very nice features and t...
