Ok now I'm nervous that if this site was updated that it'd somehow be Mac Only!
Its also funny to imagine how structure arguments would go if you all weren't so civilized.

The simplicity and lack of categorization is one thing that I've always found amusing and endearing about this place. I was assuming this simplicity is a deliberate attempt to avoid a big meta-argume...
I've been evaluating the robust Windows knowledge bases (MyInfo, UltraRecall, IQ, MyBase) and MyBase is the one I keep paying more attention to. I like it so much that I'm now wondering what I'm miss...

Ultra Recall search flaws?

UR shows backlinks? Maybe I missed that last time I gave it a spin. I shall take another look.
Are you the same cat that was directly comparing Mybase and UR a few days ago as your 'finalists'? C...

Why folding?

I use folding for in-line comments and reference data. I suppose the real world metaphor would be a footnote in a book.
I've found it useful to keep certain kinds of notes 'live' by adding running...

Thanks Lucas, that is helpful. Some of your specific issues are ones that are important to me. I'm looking for an agile personal wiki. If it's a lot of work to encode the notes with links and metad...
