From my point of view ixnote is a quite interesting conceptual experiment, I don’t relate it to Tree or Gingko. I find it much more similar to TheBrain, since with it you can build a hierarchical and at the same time parallel notes system. Yes: I see it as a potential pocket TheBrain synchronized through iCloud!

I also consider it has good development potential as a note-taking tool with a good graphical linking system. In short: an original idea worth pursuing.

Looks pretty slick. From a brief glance, might be a very worthy replacement for TheBrain.

The concept of the whiteboards adds something TheBrain doesn’t have, and makes the map view carry more information than Obsidian’s map.

The CRIMPer in me is excited..
I’d agree with you after a few more minutes fiddling with it..
it really does feel like theres a ‘something’ that grow up beautifully!
