Gingko is on Product Hunt today

Sad story. What a mess.
I really love the concept behind Gingko (and that free, abandoned clone whose name I’ve forgotten) but Gingko is almost a decade old now, is still in a state of flux, has multiple websites and (rather high) pricing for it, has hidden away its desktop app (that’s clearly been abandoned, even if the dev refuses to explicitly acknowledge the fact), and has a single dev who comes and goes and doesn’t seem to ever have given the app his full attention.
And this problematic history clearly is not something the positive commenters at ProductHunt are aware of.
