I have just stumbled upon Typora.
https://typora.io/

It is a minimalist markdown editor with a huge feature set - including mathematics, diagrams and is available for macOS and Windows.

Best,
Dominik

Typora is pretty good.  I use it not as a primary Markdown editor, but for change of pace.

If you search this forum you’ll find other already posted comments on Typora.

Typora has come along nicely. I think I tried in first in 2015, at which point it was getting updates every few days. (In fact having to constantly download an unending series of updates pushed me away from the app at the time.)

Did they ever decide on a sale price for when it hits v1.0? I know they keep holding off on bringing it out of beta (it’s gotta’ be 4 years old at this point), and currently at the minutely-incremented, ever-closer v.0.9.9.16.2.

The one thing the app had going for it was WYSIWYG Markdown, but I remember reading a tweet(?) from Max saying that this is something planned for the next upcoming Ulysses version….

If anyone’s interested, I wrote a review of Typora on my blog, including a 3-minute demo video:

An advantage Typora has over Ulysses (and several other MacOS apps) is that it has a Windows version.

Hi Steve, many thanks; as always, your review is a timesaver and a Decision Support Tool in one :)

One minor point: I understand that Typora is available for MacOS, Windows and Linux; I did not see iOS mentioned in its website.
