I wrote out a very detailed post on how I use Logseq. Took me a while to figure everything out, so hopefully this will help some people who are just getting started:

Thank you! Great write up.

With Contacts do you have a template with fields to collect, phone number, email etc?

Does logseq work on mobile (specifically ios)?

Thanks. No, I don’t use a template for contacts. I usually copy and paste from web pages, emails, and other things, and it just saves time to leave the text in whatever format it was originally. It is enough, in any case, to just be able to find the page with the contact. If I were to add another level of complexity I would do something similar to what I’ve done with “schedule” - have a header that the contact info is always nested under so that I can query it easily. But so far I haven’t had a need to use queries for this since I’m not in marketing or some such field.

I’ve heard of people trying to use it on iOS but it seems a bit tricky. I just use the Obsidian mobile app for now (see the link in the post for getting Obsidian and Logseq to work together). Hopefully in a month or two they will be releasing a proper Logseq mobile app and this won’t be necessary anymore.
