Starting a new thread on “Hook” since the original thread was diverted into numerous unrelated topics.  This app is now on sale—official launch is July 10 2019 I believe:

> Hook links useful resources to the key documents you are creating or “reading”. The focal document becomes a hub (your context), so you can instantly access the information that is most relevant to it. Stay focused, and “in flow”, by accessing linked documents without Finder, folders, Spotlight, tags, or a launcher. Learn swiftly, create products, and solve problems with pertinent knowledge resources.

Basic $14.99 Pro $19.99—it’s really a sort of subscription, with “free” updates for 12 months.  Otherwise, pay again in 12 months (40% of first year fee, I believe).

macOS only.

My biggest issue is, after one creates a “mesh” of links among documents, web sites, bits of text in other apps, etc., how does one discover existing “meshes”.

Thanks, Paul. Although I downloaded a trial version, for some reason I didn’t know that the full version had been launched.

I agree that the application needs a “library”, or “list of meshes”. Maybe that will follow.
