Oh dear. Having just got my knickers well and truly knotted over NoteSuite, I’ve now been (almost) as excited by the latest version of OneNote for iOS, which takes the whole thing into a new and much more impressive league (although you still can’t create sections or subsections!).

It’s these little things that make Microsoft so annoying. The new version of OneNote is much, much more powerful - proper pages with ink, tables, text boxes scattered liberally hither and yon, a proper (working) search function etc. etc. etc.

On the other hand, the mini-outlines discussed in another post are still not available, you can’t create sections or subsections, and you don’t appear to be able to move pages around. All these things can be done on the desktop system, of course, and synchronisation appears to be much better (and above all, faster) than before.

However - if you’re a heavy OneNote user (and I am, in specific contexts), it’s a major update and a genuine reason to rejoice!

Cheers,
Bill
