Earlier I used Basecamp, but then my requirements changed. You know, every client requires different ways of reporting and statistics. He asked for time tracking, expense tracking, invoicing, whereas I needed task tracking in it too. So, then I started searching out for a project management tool that does all these.

Sadly, I found nothing. But I currently use Replicon(http://www.replicon.com/project-and-program-management) which provides me add-on’s for everything I had mentioned above.

Please let me know if you know any tool that can provide me everything I mentioned.

I believe that Podio https://podio.com/ is the most flexible tool out there. It can be set up with a huge selection of apps to support your own business process. They even integrated teleconferencing tools recently (not surprising, as it became part of Citrix a couple of years ago). The apps are provided separately, or as integrated ‘packs’. This pack might be what you want: https://podio.com/market/packs/14413-project-tracking-budgeting

That said, if you are satisfied with Replicon, you may prefer to stick with it. Podio is so flexible it can become overwhelming.

I eventually settled on TeamworkPM which seemed to meet my needs well and was also affordable. If anyone would like to do an online session to see how I use it, let me know.

Has anyone mentioned Pagico yet? I’ve been intrigued by this app for a while. I own copies, but I’m not really a big project management guy, so it has been more app than I’ve needed. Advantages of Pagico:

* cross platform
* choose to sync and share only those projects you want to, not necessarily everything
* all-in-one info management
* gantt-chart-like calendar

Here’s a recent review of Pagico at Mac Appstorm:

Thanks for this reminder, Steve. I tried Pagico and used it for a period on a daily basis two or three years ago. As you say, it was distinctive then as a desktop project/task manager that also included a Gannt-like calendar - possibly unique then and maybe still, if you consider purely desktop applications. The main reason I stopped using it was that its interface design simply failed to work for me - possibly a personal thing that may have been unfair to the application, but the left-hand “binder” seemed confused, and the dozen tasks I simply had to do on a given day did not leap off the screen. Something to do with typeface and layout, I think.

However, two or three years ago development seemed to be running at a steady pace, and probably it’s a much improved application now. Time to have another try!
