MyLifeOrganized for iPad has just been submitted for approval to the AppStore, so it should be available shortly. It comes with a price tag of $19.95 (which is quite a lot in the iPad world). I did buy the iPod/iPhone version which was also not cheap. I found the iPod version disappointing as it did not implement a hierarchical tree view, which I find the most important aspect of the desktop version (which I do like). There is also the MLO cloud, which also costs money ($1.08 per month).

The MLO for iPad could be the ultimate task manager for the iPad, but I’m reluctant to try it out blindly after the disappointing iPod experience. if there is anyone here who is going to try it, let us know if it lives up to the expectations.

MLO for iPad is now out. It’s looking good. Nice to see that there is WIFI sync as well, so the cloud account is not obligatory. Still, I’ll be holding off for now because of the price and my disappointing experience with what I thought was an overpriced iPod version. But I look forward to reading the reviews.

But just a simple observation from the screen shots: there seems to be a lot of empty space between the lines. The main attraction to me of the desktop version (which I do use fairly regularly) was the economy of the interface: it’s very compact, uses small fonts and an awful lot can be displayed on the screen. As the iPad screen is considerably smaller than a desktop monitor, I would have thought that such economy with the screen space would have been even more important.
