If I don’t learn about them on this forum, it is most likely via the PKM subreddit or a video pops up on my YouTube feed. Don’t remember where I learned about Noteey first.

If you give Noteey a try, I’d like to hear about your experience.

Just a quick update on Walling.  I needed to do some work with my wife and thought we would continue to use Walling since I have a paid account and she has a free account.  I went to use their web clipper and it still has not been fixed.  I also sent off a message to support a few days ago and have not received any reply.  A look at their blog and all their posts mention AI, but nothing about big fixes or other program improvements.  The clipper was a key feature of my selecting Walling as it was so easy to search the web and just send links to my site.  Perhaps I am not the target customer as I have no interest in Walling, but the new ownership has been such a major disappointment.

Have you tried the clipper with a different browser?

Fair question.  I have not.  Chrome is my primary browser, warts and all.  I use Edge at work and am not a huge fan, but find it passable.  Still, Chrome occupies a large share of the market, and Walling still has not even answered my inquiry.  Not good signs in general.  I can paste the links directly in Walling and get a somewhat similar bookmark, but it is a slower process.  I am not in any immediate hurry for a replacement, but am actively looking.  I liked a lot about Milanote, except the price, and am now trying out Craft.  The latter does not have a clipper, but does offer bookmarks similar to Walling.  Something may have to give, and I am just not sure what that will be.
