I have been searching for something to keep my ADHD self organized, and I think I know the features I need. I’m about to give up hope finding something, but I found this forum and thought maybe my fellow organizational nerds might have a suggestion!

I need a PM supports:

1. Tasks with unlimited sub tasks
2. Cloud file integration
3. **Custom fields & sorting** with a dynamic text field.
4. **Drag & Drop linking to local files** (as stored in C:\\ or Link to OneDrive via Drag & Drop)
5. **A workable mind map view which maps tasks & subtasks 1:1**
6. Viewing tasks as a list or table view and a Kanban/card-type of view.

*Some of the programs I’ve tried already: Asana, Wrike, Airtable ClickUp, Mind Node, Notion, Coggle ,Mind42, Obsidian, ConceptDraw; MindMeister, SimpleMind, Creately, MindManager, Taskade, FreeMind, MindMup, TheBrain, Freeplane, Mindomo, Workflowy, LucidSpark, MindView, XMind, MindMaster, MindMeister, Miro.

It has proved absurdly difficult to find that set of features, and I would be ***extremely extreme*** grateful for suggestions!

I don’t know if it meets all of your requirements, but you might check out Ayoa. It combines mind mapping with task management:

I used Ayoa intensively for a while but ultimately walked away.  The navigation and UI felt like navigating a lot of narrow alleys, reaching dead ends, then having to navigate back out again and delete the mistakes I had just made.

I haven’t used it for a while, but I believe that MindGenius Online should cover most of the points you mention; scroll down at the page below to see the views it offers :

One word of warning: IMHO, unlimited levels of subtasks _don’t_ combine well with mind maps which generally offer sub-optimal use of screen real estate. That said, I recall MindGenius offering a complementary bird’s eye view of the mind map, allowing one to focus and augment the detail in specific areas of the map, while still maintaining the overview.

I’d have said that with the appropriate plug-ins, Obsidian would be your friend – but I see you’ve already tried it…
