Bit Defender Problem

I do not know if Bit Defender has a known uninstall problem, but it would not surprise me if it did. What the software is installed to do, I would think it puts itself all over your system just to do its work. Also, there would be parts of it the program would want to hide / or make difficult for nefarious programs to mess with it.
My experience with Revo is it monitors everything being installed. When I uninstall later, Revo lets the uninstallation that comes with the program do its thing, then Revo goes back and checks what was left behind compared to its own log.,
Again, You need to use Revo to install in the first place (don’t have to, but you should). When Revo is doing its leftover checks, it will ask you if it should delete items from the Registry. It is straightforward what is is marking, but sometimes programs like Bit Defender embed themselves deep into the O.S. Registry. That can make it hard to tell. If you can’t discern whether it is safe to delete - Don’t!
