I’m the author of Writing Outliner for Word which was discussed here sometime ago.

In recent months I’ve not only improved the stability of the outliner Word add-in by significantly simplified the internal structure, and also added built-in viewer and full-text search support for pdf files, text files and all kinds of image files.
