Graham, I’m interested by your descrition of NotaBene as “woodwork without power tools.” What do you mean?

BTW, I got signed up for the NB list, and it looks like it will be helpful.

I have decided I won’t use ndxCards for biblio, because it much easier and faster to do in NB. I did have one problem with NB, in that Ibidem wasn’t set to add each new publisher to the list, in the same way that it adds keywords. I contacted NB, and Ann Putnam phoned me back within minutes, and we got that fixed up.
