ADM has a much more powerful outliner at its core. But the import of web pages by drag and drop from the internal browser isn’t without problems, namely ‘list out of bounds’ errors that constantly occur and which, even if harmless, interrupt one’s thinking and cause worry. And UR already has some features that are stronger than ADM’s: a thoroughly implemented multiple undo (whereas NOTHING done in the outline can be undone in ADM); and a much more powerful find command, obviously important for data management.
ADM gives you a single choice as to whether you want _all_ of your terms to be connected by and, or, or be taken as a phrase. UR lets you use ‘and’, or ‘or’ as true connectors in any combination and recursively, with indentnation, the equivalent of grouping by parentheses.
The price comparison isn’t really that stark. UR has a special introductory price but will go for $100, as compared with $129 for ADM, if I remember correctly.
