Alex,

I stopped looking at it after clicking on buy—the only way to discover the price these days. $150 for what seemed like a simple diagrammer seemed a bit much, but I simply missed the features you mentioned.

So, I don’t know if it’s comparable, but here’s another that features templates to structure information (optionally) in a tree diagram: IdeasPad (http://www.mindwarp-consultancy-software.com/ideaspad-shareware-download.html)
