Ulysses is snazzed up, Apple Pages now does mail merge, and Devonthink has released a bunch of fixes and feature enhancements.

Just in time for my annual tax data analysis, Easy Data Transform gets nifty new features like an impute transform for filling missing cells with intelligent approximations.

Pages might deserve more respect than I’ve given it. It appears to be highly polished code. Styles will probably be what keeps me in the Mellel camp.

I love all the iWork apps (especially Numbers), but am put off by one major flaw – the size of the files created. They’re enormous! Compared to, yes, MS-Office (which uses heavily compressed XML files for the basic content), they take up far too much room.
