This is a fun new free app for mobile devices that is designed to let you make an outline using your voice. It transcribes the text with the built-in transcription tools and allows you to play the original recording. You can also export the outline to markdown to import into other tools.

(There is currently a feature request to improve the markdown export format, which currently lists everything as a task.)

Thanks for the post, this is a neat little app and will be very useful.  It’s nice that it’s Open Source also.

I like that you can listen to what you recorded along with seeing the translated text.  If it doesn’t translate correctly because of bad conditions, I can just listen to what I said.  So far it’s more convenient and quicker than the apps I’m using for that now.

I went to the app page to suggest being able to add a note manually with the keyboard for times when you can’t talk (I’d like to keep all quick notes in one app).  There was already a request and thread for it.
