Is anyone using this regularly? Any security issues? Recommended services? Thanks.

Hi Jan,
This is something that I have been considering myself. I believe that there still are some security issues, but one service that seems to get favorable comments is Drop Box. ThinkFree is another one.
Here are a couple of links to some reviews and other products:

http://www.gladinet.com/p/index.htm
http://www.nomadesk.com/
https://spideroak.com/
I am not actively using any of these services, but I do have a Windows Live account that has a synch service, so I cannot endorse any particular product. Let us know what you decide.

I have been using Drop Box for the past few months. I use it mostly to keep specific documents synced to the three computers I use -- one being a MacBook, and the other two desktop PCs. So far it has worked very well. I can't say that I have put anything sensitive into Drop Box, so can't vouch for security, other than that it hasn't been an issue.

I use Nomadesk regularly (among 3 PCs) and am quite satisfied by its performance and consistent development (it is still in beta). Mac beta invite is planned for January 2009 but they don't seem to have any plans to support Linux, so I am also trying out Diino ( http://www.diino.com/ ) which seems mature enough --it's a commercial service at a moderate price.

I've used DropBox for the past 3 months. I can't speak to the security issues - I don't keep anything confidential on it. I can, however, report that it is incredibly stable and unobtrusive: it just works as advertised and gives me no problems. Since it actually makes a copy of your files on every physical system, I am never worried about losing my data -- I always have multiple copies.

www.mesh.com is free, works with Mac and Windows + provides both cloud storage (5GB) as well as pure peer2peer sync.

Interesting: Microsoft is behind Live Mesh.

...and it also works with WIndows Mobile:
