Interesting app with strange name

For macOS users only, I’m afraid, because there isn’t a developer website, although there is an interesting write-up on GitHub (https://github.com/haiodo/TenniarbApp).

Tenniarb is basically a mindmapping app with a built-in calculation engine. Every element can be a nested mindmap. Every element can be styled; styles can be customised and applied. Specific element parameters can be used in calculations, although it’s not immediately clear how this works.

It’s not expensive. But I’m not sure whether to CRIMP… although it certainly looks very intriguing.

The web page (for the Mac App Store entry) is at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tenniarb/id1364324842?mt=12

Cheers,
Bill

Tenniarb == Brain Net

Reverse the name.

Interesting that the AppStore has something on offer for a developer that has no web presence.  I would have thought that would not meet standards, but how would I know.

CMAP is a venerable solution that does a lot (all?) of what Brain Net/Tenniarb does.  For free, and on most platforms.

Don’t see why the github account doesn’t count as a web presence. It isn’t a “write up” but the actual code, with a support forum where users and other developers can file issues… IMH this is one of the best kinds of web presence any app can have.

Sorry, I didn’t look carefully. The code doesn’t seem to be included in this repository. Indeed, the developer just seems to be using it as free web hosting. Still, this seems perfectly legitimate, and like I said above, it comes with a support forum built in.
