I’m confused. The text is about WriteMonkey. Is your point that WriteMonkey has these features, too? Or is someone using IA to write about WriteMonkey?

Not really, WriteMonkey3 beta is quite different, also more complicated to use for newbies. It is just a sample file that was open.

The reason for writemonkey3 in screenshot is it was there in iA from before, and showed up after updating iA. BTW I asked WirteMonkey3 dev to make that .md file last year as a tut, command shortcuts etc.

Secondly that file has a long TOC list (outline of headings subheadings) which shows off the unique feature of new iA lib column: showing .md chapter sections in the file manager column.

I’ve also emailed them to add an icon at top of that column to Show/Hide Outline view so can choose between that (long list of outline) or list of files (many for me, long list).

The fourth, right section, is Preview, separate pop-up window, sync-scrolls well with editor.

The DropBox (free cloud) folder works well with cloud too, cheap one-off payment, many free open source quality apps available too.

But this forum has recently become advertising mainly for subscription apps only a few use. Usually no interest in free open source secure quality apps with links to personal secure free cloud accounts. I almost did not post this on either., like many apps I use and not mentioned here, also too busy to check threads nowadays.
