The article is here: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/beautiful-mind-mapping-apps/, dated March 2, 2019.

Covered:

- Padlet (Web, Android, iOS, Kindle)
- Canva (Web, Android, iOS)
- Breakdown Notes (Web)
- MapsOfMind (Web)
- Ideament (iOS, Windows)

Most of them were new to me. And there are links to other articles of interest. Happy crimping!

I tried dozens of mind map apps including the big heavy expensive ones.

My favorite is linked below: fast, multi features and functions, free trial, cheap lifetime licence, no subscriptions milking your wages every month, nor some unknown guy keeping your private data on his basement server before his company ceases and moves onto hi$ next venture, mac Windows Android iOS plus multi platform file compatibility.

Multi level outline list window pane too for us nutcases here, good import export, any colors you want for elements connections backgrounds, multi styles templates, main established chart types templates, mind map, lists view (my alt to a good index card app for Windows which still does not exist), switch between styles to see different views of data immediately, etc etc all for peanuts and lifetime upgrade and easy to use with many deep features for experts if needed.

Thank you to the pragmatic, no nonsense, logical (Puritan?), Stoic and not to forget the stylish Dutch.

Most apps are no good for anyone depending on personal taste and needs. For anyone there are a minority of fave apps. BUT most devs of those fave apps always find a way or more to mess things up and basically bother users. We all like our fave apps but think what the hell did he/she do that for, or not do the other? Then there are only a handful of apps within those few faves you think, this dev(s) is not putting a foot wrong. He’s not bothering me at all, this is just damn good and sweet to use too, son of a gun, well I’ll be damned.
