Hm, I’m surprised - I’m using beta 3 of MJ and haven’t had any problems up till now. But yes, I’m very much hoping the iOS app gets an update in the near future. DayOne has always been very slick, despite its lacunes.

My only quarrel with Notebooks is the inability to navigate via keyboard only.
Or perhaps I am missing something?
(I tried almost everything, but I simply can’t go from selecting the file to writing without using the mouse, which I find very annoying.)

Also, I wonder if any other note-taking app will ever have a search function as good as apps like BBEdit, Ulysses and Textastic. (All of them provide a list of all of the occurrences of the searched term.)

(This is my first post here. Cheers, everyone).

Is anyone here using the beta? I see the latest beta came out in May and it’s up to x.20. I’m always nervous about using betas - how is the app, and are there any noteworthy new features?

Yep, I’m using the latest beta, which appears to be rock-solid.

Only irritating point? Alfons still hasn’t managed to solve the PDF management thing (oh, PDFs show up fine, you can search for them - but once you’ve got them, you can’t search IN them).

But apart from that, it’s fast, fluid and a big improvement.

Cheers!
Bill
