I downloaded it and it synced over all my iOS texts. Haven’t tested sync of subsequent edits yet, though.

MacStories wrote a comprehensive and very positive review yesterday: https://www.macstories.net/reviews/drafts-5-mac/. The app sounds very useful, not just if you use Drafts for iOS and even without the equivalent of the iOS app’s actions.

Yes, as far as I can tell, although a Pro subscription was required during beta, the sync between iOS and Mac now works even without a subscription. Features exclusive to Pro are listed here:
