I wonder if the API is powerful enough that someone could build a native iOS app? I suspect not, but it would be great if that were possible!

It’s a very minimalist API.  Get a document.  Post changes to a document.  Send data to the Dynalist Inbox.  Someone writing a native app would have to do all of the 98% of the rest of work involved in creating an app.  And then try to compete with Dynalist.  I think this API is more suited to someone who wants to do advanced action coding in Drafts, Editorial, or Workflow, etc.,

I used Dynalist briefly before discovering that I could not delete anything I put into it. The shortcut for deletion, and the menu item for delete don’t work. I can edit the lines (backing over them with the backspace key, and can only make things functional by reusing lines, not deleting them and making new lines.

I don’t have that problem at all. Items delete just as one would expect.

Even though they haven’t fixed the iOS bugs which seem beyond their abilities, the developers have been incredibly responsive about fixing any issues with the web app and usually respond to emails or posts on the forum quite quickly.
