It’s been so long since I visited the MyInfo forum that I forgot my password. On the log-in screen, I clicked “Forgot Password” and then entered my email address. The site promised to send me a link. No email came. Not only does the forum appear to be down, but the software responsible for handling lost passwords appears to be inactive as well.
I used MyInfo years ago before moving elsewhere. The developer was friendly and responsive, but as others have noted, his work on the code is best described as glacial.
And I’m not a fan of playing it so close to the vest with the beta updates. Why keep it secret? Even a trickle of information might tempt potential users - or returning users - to wait for the next release before investing in other software, like RightNote.

I am not sure what you are seeing, but my AV on my work PC flagged the page link and would not allow it to open.

I haven’t been able to get into the MyInfo forums for several weeks, maybe months. Hard to remember. It lets me log in, but just shows an empty forum. I also subscribe to RSS feeds of that forum and those haven’t updated in about a month. Something does seem wrong with that server.

WSP: If you’re a beta tester, maybe you can tell us the last time an update was released? MyInfo 7 began beta testing in October 2016 - !
The Milenix blog hasn’t been updated since September 2017. With the forum down as well, people are bound to speculate as to the viability of MyInfo. I wish the developer were more communicative, as his software is very good.

I continue to feel rather mystified by these reports of the MyInfo board being down, since I’ve had no difficulty in accessing it; I’ve dropped a note to Petko this evening to ask him about it.
Petko releases betas of version 7 regularly: the most recent one was dated April 17. The progress has been slow but steady. Waiting for a new version of software from a one-man operation can certainly be annoying at times, but I see no evidence that MyInfo is in danger of being abandoned. Petko is amazingly persistent.
