Wow that’s a blast from the past. I literally laughed out loud when I saw this. (Well, more like a “heh heh” kind of laugh.)

I looked at my gmail to confirm the date: I signed up to be part of this “testing group” in November 2012. I got back a confirmation saying Treeliner is in a “closed beta” and I would be notified when it opened up to more testers. That is the last email in my gmail on the subject and it looks like they are in the same status over five years later.

I agree the video looks awesome. It would be so great if it was more than a video, but I fear this is like one of those perennial flying car videos (“Available to the public this Spring!”) that never turn out to be more than wishful thinking.

Just found out one of my top few fave txt editors (with folding) has Evernote & what’s more syncs in real-time, shame I don’t use Evernote usually.
