I’ve started to use One Note to manage my information for university classes and assignments. I created a template which I now want to delete from the list of templates. There appears to be no way to do that, so I wonder if anyone knows how to do this. Thanks.

Microsoft seem to have been incompetently mucking about with OneNote templates management functionality for a L-O-N-G time, and it’s still not fixed.
There are lots of discussion threads that refer to the problem of not being able to delete OneNote Templates.
For example: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_onenote-mso_other/delete-onenote-template-template-manager/f1b27caf-c2a0-4dbf-9a72-18b6324e46c7?page=4

Hi everyone,
On behalf of the OneNote team I’d like to apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced as a result of the Delete button being disabled.
We logged this bug and followed up with the Engineering team - looks like this was fixed back in April with update 16.0.6927.2006, that you can manually get by clicking File> Update Options> Update now.
We strongly recommend you update, and let us know if you still continue to see the ‘Delete’ button disabled for custom template, so we can move to the next steps.

- but despite the assertions that it was fixed, it apparently still isn’t.
It’s like waiting for Godot.

Sorry, I think I must have double-clicked the post button and that resulted in a duplicate post. Otherwise, I have no idea how I managed to get a duplicate post.
I don’t think I would be alone in wishing for a facility to edit or delete posts just made on this forum…  :-(
