Hard to know what to make of this new offering.

It’s definitely geared to content creation, and I’d love to see some improvement in its ability to curate what we already have.
however
Its free form heirachy structure is very, very flexible.

Would love to get thoughts from others here on its worth!

Notion.so just released a beta mac app for their textual equivalent of treesheets really.

It’ll be nice to use it outside a chrome tab!

It’s certainly intriguing and appears very flexible.

Does the Mac version have offline capability?  How fast / how good is the search?  How does it perform with thousands of notes (does it scale up well)?

I tried it on Firefox and it doesn’t work at all - they acknowledge this.  On Chrome it works well and sure looks nifty; the fatal flaw for me was that the search was very sloooooow.

I’ve come up with a method that helps me test apps quickly and helps me anti-CRIMP a bit by being able to quickly dismiss them.  One of the first things I do is copy a ton of data in.  Can it import, can it export, does it choke on a thousand items, can it efficiently and quickly search a thousand items?  Nowadays much software fails these tests, especially apps.
