Another NoteMap problem?

I’ve started writing a book and have been using NoteMap.  I think I’ve encountered an aggravation or two:

I have one note that is several paragraphs long and is longer than one window view (800x600).  It is a PITA to get the cursor to go to text that is beyond the bottom of the window display.  Instead, it likes to jump elsewhere.  Running XP.

I’ve encountered that, too: the scrolling behavior can be quite annoying. You go to scroll one line, so you can see the beginning of the next note while most of the current note is still on the screen, but instead everything leaps forward so that the first line of the next note is at the top of the screen. Try to scroll one line back up, and you’re at the first line of the previous note again.

Sometimes I can work around this by hoisting, but usually I just end up making each paragraph a separate outline item. When I reach the point where I want to treat long, multi-paragraph passages as single blocks, I transfer everything to MyInfo (which I find to be a pretty decent writing tool, among its many virtues) and continue from there.

Less than ideal, for sure.
