Thanks for posting—- I second what Steve said. The bit by Alexandra Samuel is both funny and depressingly accurate. Specifically, I have found that a “GTD” mentality combined with a new software system leads me to put what is probably far too much energy into writing everything down, which leads to absurdly long lists of tasks, to the point that eventually I find myself using some other straightforward system to write down what are actually the few most important things I need to do on a given day. Well, good to know that I’m not alone!

Too funny indeed…
And when you combine a CRIMPer with a software developer, obsessed with optimal information management, you get a crazy, never ending project…

Now wait until you see this :

Microsoft Hololens: 3-D display of your information management tools. CRIMPers will go nuts !!

Brilliant, funny, true. The truth, of course, is that we can only keep track of a maximum of 7 things. Probably only four of them matter. The point of all these systems is to try to actually get to three of them. And when you get right down to it, we don’t even manage that. The problem, I think we can all agree, is the software. (Unless it’s the wetware.)
