When they introduced Ulysses for iPad, they said that they’d abandon Daedalus.

That’s unfortunate. It’s one of the few text editors that seemed to really re-imagine text editing for a tablet. I’m really not a fan of the recent trend of trying to turn the iPad into a laptop.

My reason to use Daedalus was support for iPhone (Ulysees on iPad).
Now ... just started beta testing the iPhone version of Daedalus. Really liking it so far :-) Will not miss Daedalus.

I think you mean the beta version of Ulysses for iPhone - yes, looking forward to that (have applied, haven’t received yet!)
