As I promised, the free OutlineEdit 1.1 update adds support for rich text and includes dozens of refinements. And it introduces category filter: Enable it to collect all items of one or multiple categories - to get an overview or to export them directly. Learn more: http://outlineedit.com
I want to thank anyone who gave me feedback on the project.
To celebrate this moment I will give away a free licence of OutlineEdit from the Mac App Store to the first 5 people sending a mail with the subject "1.1 premiere" to contact@outlineedit.com.
And as always: let me know your opinion on the app.
Best regards,
Robin

Nice one, Robin - excellent new features!
The ability to filter by 'categories' (= exclusive tags) is especially welcome, but you've also given it a very nice extra twist by making it possible to export all items in a given category to a new outline (or PDF, or plain-text document). That's a very powerful feature.
Suddenly OutlineEdit has become a very powerful tool. The only obvious missing feature is hoisting, but the category filter plus the various folding options make that less of a problem than it might be.
