Good news! Stache on iOS not only synchronises properly, it also has a nice search function. There’s two parts: a ‘Quick Search’, which clearly only looks at titles/URLs of web pages, but there’s also a ‘Full Search’, which looks through the full content of each web page (and takes a little longer—although that’s not especially noticeable with the 80 or so pages I’ve got in there currently).
In many ways, the iOS app is actually better than the Mac app. The whole collections/folders thing is clearer and works better. Not the first time I’ve seen that (NoteSuite springs to mind).
Now. At some point I’ll have to see how well Stache functions offline. But I’m still working, so it’ll have to wait!
