Thanks - I’ve no need for a scanner front-end but Benubird looks interesting - strange that I didn’t find it mentioned when looking for PaperPort alternatives.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work on Windows 7 64 bit .... which, as luck would have it, is what I have on my PC.

Win 7, 64-bit is supported and it does run on mine…

Yes, 64-bit Windows is supported (as stated on the home page on Benubird’s website) - but full-text searching isn’t! How’s that in a purported ‘document management’ application!?!

I refer the honorable gentlemen to forum posts at http://forums.debenu.com/no-functions_topic114.html - if it does work on some 64 bit systems, it clearly doesn’t on all - including mine :-(

Oops, sorry - the PDF Preview menu doesn’t work on mine either. Though Home and Help are fine.
