I’ve been taking another look at NOOKstudy, a rather good-looking app you can download for free from the Barnes & Noble website (more here: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/nookstudy/features/index.asp). It all sounds great, and at first glance looks great. The dual-view feature in particular is great for writers and researchers alike.

BUT… the search function is crap. In line with many other US applications, it doesn’t support foreign character sets. Tragic, in something that claims to be an academic aid.

Anybody else encountered it/experimented with it?
