I have never used MyLifeOrganized…that said, I looked at the documentation of MLO.
MLO exports to XML and UR inports from XML…If I had any quantity of data in MLO, I would try that method to see if I got what I needed.

Yes—See the demo here http://kinook.com/UltraRecall/demos/GTD.htm
and look at the GTD sample database.

I suggest you copy the GTD sample database for a quick start and begin to customize the filters (saved searches) and views from this starting point.

;As I discovered, one can drag a node from a Jot+ onto a tree in UltraRecall and T;reePad Business or onto a blank outline item in Inspiration and the right panel document corresponding to the node will be copied into the corresponding right pane in UltraRecall and in TreePad Business, or into the Inspiration outline item.

Regrettably, this drag-and-drop operation does NOT work between the three PIMs:  UltraRecall, TreePad Business, and Inspiration.

Although the drag-and-drop operation was most efficient for Jot+ to UltraRecall, the uncertainty of the long term viability of UR has caused me hesitate in transferring all my Jot+ files to UR at this time.  I guess I’ll wait to see if UR’s long-term viability improves.  At present, TreePad and Inspiration appear to be far more likely to be around for a long time.

Here is a lengthy explanation from the TreeProjects blog of how drag and drop is implemented in TreeProjects 2.4.2 (current version is now 2.7):

I downloaded TreeProjects and found that I can, indeed, drag tree nodes from Jot+ onto the TP tree and the right pane information will also appear in TreeProjects.  Like TreePad, however, the tree node name is lost and must be added manually.

I also tried dragging files onto TreeProjects, but I had problems trying to open them.  No doubt, I don’t know enough about how TreeProjects works.  (E.g., when I open a new file and folder, what appears in the right pane is a mystery to me.)
