I was surprised that a search on the forum turns up no mentions of this mind mapping software / website.  http://www.mindomo.com I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now and am very impressed.

For a while ive been searching for something to create outlines that:
- provides access to my outlines on my android tablet and windows
- ideally syncs to the cloud for easy access from other computers and devices and for reliable backup
- allows me to attach word files and pdfs to outline nodes/items, and stores these files so i csn view them from anyplace where i’m accessing the outline
- has notes for each item like a dual-pane outliner
- exports to word when im ready to convert my outline to a document, with item titles becoming word headings with the proper outline level

Mindomo does all of the above.  It has native ipad, android, and windows apps based on adobe air, and also a wwb version.  The native apps sync to the web.  Word export is very good.

a bonus that i really like is that i can access my evrrnote notes feom within mindomo and add them to my outline.  unfortunately changes to those items are not later reflected in evernote, but you cant have it all.

Very interesting, thanks for the heads up. It is very reach in features though some (e.g. import and export) are not very much promoted.

I find their pricing model a bit restrictive but I can live with it if the product is reliable. It is actually the first mind mapping service that I would consider joining at the premium level.

I’ve written elsewhere here (positively) about Mindomo, but this seems like a good place to post about the current offer of their 3-year plan via BitsDuJour / Stacksocial:
