This may be slightly off-topic, but I understand there's quite a few of us here that need access to their material from several devices. At the same time, I understand that there's also quite a few who resent the idea of their stuff being available online under a third-party server.
AeroFS seems a (possible) answer to this. It calls itself "filesync without servers" and, if I comprehend correctly, it works peer-to-peer on one's machines, much like B-folders, discussed here in the past.
AeroFS is currently on invite-only private beta. I have asked for an invite, and you can increase my chances on getting one, by requesting one yourselves through my referral link http://www.aerofs.com/?ref=jfgt0
Important note: I am myself not so interested in AeroFS, having selected non-paranoid-proof methods of filesync like Dropbox. I am testing mainly for colleagues. If you are indeed interested in an invitation and click on the link above, do alert me with an email to adeliyannis (at) gmail (dot) com --the referral system will tell me how many clicks it has received (I think) but nothing more.
