If this post in not appropriate, I would ask that the moderator please delete it, as I do not want to violate posting rules.

I have been using Nota Bene since about 2002 and I have always found it to perform as advertised and to do so very well. I have upgraded my copy of the program each time new updates/upgrades came out and I recently upgraded to version 9. I find, however, that I just do not use the program very much. In fact, I cannot even remember the last time I did use it. I was told in an e-mail exchange with Nota Bene that they would permit me to sell my license for using the program, even though they do not normally allow this. There is a $35 charge to transfer the license, but Nota Bene said that they would waive this charge if I was able to sell my license by September 2, 2010. If I am not able to sell my license by that time, I will gladly pay this $35 transfer fee.

I have a license for NotaBene Lingua Workstation 9.0 as well as Archiva Premium. I upgraded to 9.0 as well as purchased the license for Archiva Premium back in June for $198.00. If anyone would be interested, I would like to sell my license for the $198 that it cost me in June to upgrade to the latest version as well as purchase the license for Archiva Premium. I will gladly provide the documentation for this purchase as well as the documentation from NotaBene giving me permission to sell my license.

If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thank you,

Mark Fuss

I’m curious why you are not using NB9 as much as you have earlier versions.

Daly,

It is just a matter of preference as well as a bit of a change in the way that I work and compile and assemble the information that I use. It has nothing to do with being dissatisfied with NoteBene; I just decided to go in a different direction.

Since I really would like to sell my license and recoup at least some of what I paid for NotaBene, I am dropping my asking price to $150.00 USD. I would much rather take a $50.00 hit than a $200.00 hit.
