Rael, thanks for the heads up on both applications.

Despite their different looks, the two applications seem quite similar in concept. Can they import/export information to each other?

P.S. I can guess that you are connected with RightNote but are you also involved with AM-Notebook?

Steve, thanks for the heads up on Pigeonhole Organizer; I’m sure you’ve mentioned it in the past here, but it now seems quite a handy solution for a specific task I have in mind.

Re InfoStore, it appears that it’s all but dead; here’s a note from the download page: “Please note - InfoStore is not currently being sold, but you are welcome to download the trial version and use it for 30 days.”

Both use the same edit control for main note taking, so this content can be transferred quite easily between the 2 applications. AM-Notebook stores it’s spreadsheet content in a custom format (not sure why…), so this content cannot easily be transferred to RightNote (although you can use a work-around. You can contact our support if you are interested).

RightNote includes export/import spreadsheet data to/from ms excel (xls) format. We are also working on a native excel import/export, which means import/export operations will be very quick (they tend to be slow via current method that depends on ms excel being installed), and not require ms excel to be installed. Hopefully this will be ready within a few weeks.

Correct..

No. Just referring to another product.

Rael
